Are there restrooms on site?
Trailer restrooms must be rented in the appropriate quantity for the party size.
Is a wedding planner required?
Yes, we do require a wedding planner or at least a day of coordinator. Because this is a raw space we truly feel it will become unmanageable without a professional handling the logistics. We have an in-house planner and we are also happy to recommend a few in the area.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes! We love dogs and are happy to have them, provided they are picked up after. Excessive droppings or any damage caused by pets will incur a fee.
How late can I play music?
Music must be turned off by 11 pm, we want to be respectful of our neighbors! All guests not staying at the farmhouse must exit the venue at this time.
Are there accommodations nearby?
Yes, we are lucky to have two hotels that are a 3 minute walk from the venue! We are happy to provide you with a list of nearby lodgings. Additionally with our Full weekend rental and our packages you have access to the farmhouse which has 4 bedrooms.
Is there parking?
Yes, we having parking for up to 100 cars, parking attendants are recommended for larger weddings or when many guests will be driving themselves.
How many guests are permitted?
We allow up to 200 guests. The greenhouse can have up to 150 for a seated meal/ceremony and 200 for dancing. The gravel area can have up to 200 guests with seats and tables.
What are the restrictions on decorations, like candles?
We allow candles, we do not allow glitter or rice, basically anything that will make it difficult for staff to clean up after the wedding.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is permitted outside, all cigarette butts must be cleaned up.
Are there restrictions on which vendors I can use?
No! We want you to be able to select whichever vendors you wish, that being said they must have insurance. We are happy to provide a list of our preferred vendors.
How do I reserve a date?
A signed contract and payment of 30% of your total is required to book a date. Your bill will be divided into three payments with the last payment due 3 months before your event date.
What if I need to cancel?
You have a seven-day (7) look period from the time you sign and pay to cancel and receive a full refund on your deposit. If you cancel the event after the seven-day look period, all monies paid to L’Orangerie will be forfeited and will not be credited to future events.
Do I need to purchase event insurance?
Yes, all clients must obtain a Certificate of Liability Insurance naming L’Orangerie as additionally insured
for $1 million covering each day you are on site. Ask our Venue Director for a direct link to purchase if needed.
What is the rain plan?
Both venues have gorgeous outdoor ceremony locations. In the event of inclement weather, you can relocate your
ceremony inside to the reception area or consider renting a tent for outdoor use.
Can the wedding party get ready at the venue?
Yes, the wedding party can get ready at the venue. You may get ready on-site as soon as your rental time begins.
Is there lodging on site?
Yes. There is a 4 bedroom farmhouse on site.
Is there a dance floor?
L’Orangerie does not provide a dance floor. However, a dance floor is not needed as the greenhouse floors are safe to dance on.
